  • “THE CRESCENDO OF KINDNESS”

This is the name of the concert of teachers and pupils of the children’s art schools of Satka Municipal District, which was held as part of the Elena Obraztsova International Festival of Classical Music “Carmen” on November 30 at the Magnezit Cultural Center.

- “Our concert didn’t get its name for no reason. Elena Obraztsova said that one must create and leave something good behind oneself in the world. And we believe that good work will always burgeon and, like a crescendo, give new strength and new impulses. Let the performances of the artists who will come onstage today form one melody of good and warm our hearts,” remarked Natalya Vodoleyeva, a hostess, an art historian, and a teacher at Y. A. Rozum Children’s Art School No.1.

The concert opened with a light show. An original and breathtaking “dance” of floodlight rays was performed to the Habanera from the opera Carmen by Georges Bizet (lighting designer: Sergey Kudryashov). And after the first number, which was 3rd Movement of Concerto No. 5. C-major by Antonio Vivaldi arranged by Johann Sebastian Bach, and played by Guzalia Samigullina and Olga Latypova, a duo of teachers of Y. A. Rozum Children’s Art School No .1, there was a surprise waiting for the audience. Anton Migashkin, Deputy Technical Director of Magnezit Group, presented the children’s art schools of the municipality and the central library of the city with copies of the two-volume book The Opera Ball of Elena Obraztsova by Mikhail Pashchenko – a gift from Magnezit Group and the Sobranie Fund.

The musical palette of the evening had singing and dancing as well as instrumental music. Intertwining like notes, they wove a multi-faceted cloth of good, which warmed everyone’s hearts in the audience.

— “Our family came to this concert all together: these are my grandchildren, my son and his wife. We like everything so much. It’s all so gorgeous! How talented our kids are! One can feel that the teachers are working hard to share all of their knowledge with their pupils. I couldn’t even say which was the best number. They were all good! Everyone: Berdyaush, Bakal and Mezhevoy, and our Satkan performers are wonderful! How they play! And their dancing! And the costumes! A wonderful night! Thank you!” Elena Frolova shared her experience.

- “I came here today to support my granddaughter Viktoria. She played Johann Sebastian Bach on a piano accordion. I’m most pleased with her performance. People even shouted “Brava!” to her. The concert turned out to be very warm on the whole. It’s so great that there’s such a lot talented kids and teachers in Satka. I feel overwhelmed by emotion,” says Nelya Shabarshova. – I’d like to thank the organizers of the festival for the opportunity to experience high art and enjoy things that are beautiful, filled with light, and pure. It would be great if such concerts prepared by teachers of children’s art schools and their pupils were to become a good tradition.
