  • LAUNCHING SATKA.LAB

The Satka.Lab Interdisciplinary Laboratory for Education, Art and Culture is launching with an original course offered by Anna Kychakova, a Yekaterinburg-based text editor, proofreader, and media research assistant. The course focuses on how to write non-fiction texts, from social media posts to sci-fi books, easily and creatively. The first lecture of the project will take place on September 2, at 5 p. m., in the Art-Satka Creative Public Space.

- According to the organizers, the lecture will be open to everyone interested in the topic: young correspondents from high school-based and university-based press centers, journalists working for professional periodicals, bloggers, and other people who are venturing into different writing genres, including through social media. - There are no age limits, but the number of seats is limited. Those wishing to take part in the event will therefore have to register in advance. This can be done by sending a personal message in VK.COM, by calling (35161) 95 4 05 or +7 919 332 42 55, or by completing an event participant form.

We would like to remind our readers that the Satka.Lab Interdisciplinary Laboratory for Education, Art and Culture, a project led by the Foundation for Assistance to the Development of Satkinsky District, became the winner of the Chelyabinsk Region Governor's grant competition and will be implemented in the territory of Satkinsky District between September 2022 and May 2023.

The project’s events will target a very wide range of participants and attendants across different age groups, professional disciplines, and hobby choices. The events will be moderated by representatives of local professional communities as well as by guest lecturers (experts and artists from Chelyabinsk, Yekaterinburg, St. Petersburg; teachers from the Chelyabinsk State University).
