For us it is important that the hackathon invites residents of the city to take immediate part in the city life, motivates them to participate in improvement within their powers and strengthens the role model of an active citizen. Anyway, it is the residents themselves who know best how to satisfy their actual requests, solve existing problems and what shall be changed and improved. We hope that special educational program which will support the hackathon will help both Satka residents and young architects – immediate participants of the hackathon – to better fulfill their artistic potential, obtain new experience and knowledge in communication with invited experts” – comments Natalya Nikiforova, Director for Corporate Development and Strategic Communications of Magnezit Group, Director of the Sobranie Cultural Initiative Supporting & Preservation Fund.
