July 26, Dmitry Vargin presents his authorial program, “Demons and Angels”, on the stage of Magnezit Cultural Center. Female voice part will be performed by a young graduate of the academician music college supervised by Tchaikovsky Moscow State Conservatory Tatyana Bikmuhametova (soprano).

This performance is not the first time musicians from Germany meet the audience on this scene. They have presented unique music events already twice, charmed with the warm welcome of Satka’s audience during the Philharmonic Meetings. In 2015, the duet presented the authorial program, Music of the Soul, that included the selecta Russian and foreign romantic songs, while in 2016 they gave the concert of classical music together with soloist of the Teatro alla Scala Lyudmila Zhiltsova.

Dmitry Vargin is an outstanding performer from the galaxy of young modern performing artists. In 2004, Dmitry became the finalist at Belvedere Competition, the International Singing Competition for Young Opera Singers held in Vienna, where he received a special award of Erfurt Theatre. In 2007, he was invited to the Singer of the World competition held in the UK. Right after graduating the Hamburg State Academy of Music and Theatre in 2005, Dmitry became the soloist of Deutsche Oper am Rhein in Düsseldorf, where he made his debut in the part of Silvio in Clowns opera by Ruggero Leoncavallo.

In Russia, he made successful debut in the Bolshoi Theatre in 2010 performing the part of  Papageno in The Magic Flute by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. Then he performed the role of Marcello in Giacomo Puccini’s La Bohème.

The piano will sound due to performance of Georgy Mayorsky, the award winner and diploma winner of international music contests. After his post-graduate course in accompanist’s art, he worked in the Maimonides State Classic Academy as assistant of professor of the Moscow State Conservatory Vazhee Nikolaevich Chachava, who was accompanist of E.V. Obraztsova for many years. Since 1998, Georgy has been living and working in Germany.

Since 2004, he has been working an associate professor in the vocal department of the Hochschule für Musik und Theater Hamburg, where since 2011, he has been teaching the Russian vocal repertoire course. Since 2005, he is the permanent musical director and accompanist of the Mozart Wettbewerb Hamburg.

The  authorial program, “Demons and Angels”, has already gained reputation of the one-of-a-kind project devoted to the eternal opposition of the Good and the Evil through the prism of harmony of poetry and music. The main dichotomy of the life has always excited the deepest tiers of consciousness and gives rise millions of dramatic, lyric and romantic or epic plots. Zest for the beautiful, truly pure, “heavenly” has been and still remains the most frequent motive in works of any kind and genre – pure love, lavation and penance, striving to tranquil repose and self-forgetfulness for the sake of supreme forces. Spiritual torments, opposing to the world and denial are manifestation of the demoniac essence of the hero of a work of art.

Dmitry’s program accumulated the dedicated masterpieces of opera signing, most different in their mood, deepness and feelings. Harmonious sounds of the piano will reveal and supplement the thunder-like velvet of baritone and bright subtlety of soprano.
