  • AGREEMENT BETWEEN SOBRANIE FUND AND RAE

The Russian Academy of Education and SOBRANIE Cultural Initiative Supporting & Preservation Fund have signed the Cooperation Agreement on Support of Education and Upbringing of Young Citizens. The parties will cooperate in the framework of implementation of the Russian national program ‘Upbringing and Education – Investments in the Future’.

One of the main objectives of the Agreement is development of the project on creation of comfortable social environment for young people in Chelyabinsk Region. “The cooperation between the Russian Academy of Education and SOBRANIE Fund is focused on support of various initiatives in the sphere of youth upbringing and education, which includes science conferences, round tables, seminars, arrangement of discussion platforms on the urgent matters of upbringing and education. We think the issues of family and childhood, prevention of youth antisocial behaviour, harmonious development of an individual in the family and at school, development of creative activities and talents will take one of the central places in the cooperation program,” Artur Rean, RAE academician, chairman of RAE research board on family and childhood, comments the new collaborative effort. 

The Agreement was signed by RAE President, academician Lyudmila Alexeevna Verbitskaya and Magnezit Group President, Chairman of SOBRANIE Fund Supervisory Board Sergey Pavlovitch Korostelev.

“Harmonious education of a person, creation of his/her cultural background and creativity are one of the main directions of our activity. Signing of the Agreement with one of the Russian leading scientific organizations is the great honour. For the first time we will apply the education best practices in Chelyabinsk Region. This cooperation will bring our projects to the entirely new level,” said Sergey Korostelev after signing the Agreement.

The Russian Academy of Education is the national academy of science, the successor of USSR Academy of Pedagogical Science.

One of the main objectives of the Academy activity is participation in development, testing and assessment of the new educational methods, tools and forms of education and upbringing of children in cooperation with the national academies of science, scientific societies, creative unions and other organizations.

SOBRANIE Cultural Initiative Supporting & Preservation Fund was established in 2011 by Magnezit Group and private investors to promote cultural, artistic and social development of primarily Satka Municipal District of Chelyabinsk Region as the location of the main industrial complex of the Group. 

The main objective of the Fund is preservation of historical and cultural heritage, implementation of creative projects and fulfilment of the potential of various groups of people. To accomplish these tasks the Fund implements cultural and social programs, actively participates in the volunteer movement, arranges exhibitions, fairs, festivals, vernissages and carries out publishing activities.
