  • THE SHIMMER OF PIANO, THE LIGHT OF VIOLIN …

The musical performance of the French instrumental duo – the violin player Agnès Pyka and piano player Laurent Wagschal – will take place in Magnezit on October 24 at 19:00. This duo will play the music pieces by French composers in Satka within the scope of ‘Carmen’, the International Classic Music Festival named after E.V. Obraztsova. The repertoir will include the following:  

1. Sezar Frank. Violin and piano sonata in A major FWV 8 (1886)

2. Gabriel Fore. Violin and piano sonata №1 Opus 13 (1875)

Agnès Pyka is the founder and the first violin of ‘Des Equilibres’ ensemble (www.desequilibres.fr), and the winner of numerous international contests, including National Jeunes Solistes Hart House (Toronto), National Schubert (Italy), Européen de Moncalieri (Italy). In addition to that, the musician works as a teacher in Tulon music conservatory (France).   

Laurent Wagschal is also a member of ‘Des Equilibres’ ensemble, but apart from that, he appears on the most prestigious stages in France (Theatre du Chatelet, Theatre des Champs-Elysees, Radio France) and abroad (Palais de Beaux-Arts in Brussel, National Music Auditorium in Madrid, Carnegie Hall in New York etc.).
